The vehicle is the first domestic innovative use of articulated engineering vehicle chassis and frame structure of the upper, composed of a stable, reliable, able to turn in place, adapt to a variety of complex road conditions of the driving platform, the use of wide base bias tyres, to ensure that in the grasslands, forests, mountainous areas, fields, riverbanks and other rugged roads driving through the fire fighting and rescue equipment.

The vehicle is the first application of compressed gas foam fire extinguishing system, which realises efficient fire extinguishing function. Compressed gas  foam fire extinguishing system is an innovative key technology with national invention patent, the use of chemical fire extinguishing foam produced by the fine and uniform, with good performance, anti-burning performance, by virtue of its cooling, room rest, isolation and other comprehensive effect, excellent fire-fighting performance, and non-toxic and harmless. The combat effect shows that its fire-fighting efficiency than direct water fire 20 times, the fire-fighting water utilisation rate increased by 8 times, and can effectively prevent re-ignition.

 The fire-fighting foam has strong flame retardant property, which can be directly used to extinguish the fire, and the foam can be sprayed on the trees and bushes to establish a firebreak and block the spread of fire. Due to the small density  and light weight of the fire-fighting foam, the transport pressure loss is small, the transport distance is far, the head is high, the foam spray distance, spray height is greater than 40 metres, which can make the field operation mobile and convenient, so as to provide a guarantee for the timely application of the fire in the high distance and difficult environment.

The upper part of the vehicle is installed with a remote control fire gun, which can be operated remotely in the cab or under the car, and the fire gun can do 360 degree rotation and 90 degree tilt. Foam injection ports are installed on both sides of the rear of the vehicle, which can be used for grassland and forest firefighting, rapid establishment of fire protection isolation zones or fire clean-up operations. It can provide two water belts of type 40, 50 and 65 to supply foam at the same time, which can make the on-site operation mobile and convenient, thus providing a good solution for the fire fighting in high distance and difficult environments.

It can provide guarantee for the timely rescue of fire in high distance and difficult environment. The front of the vehicle is also equipped with a ‘bulldozer bucket-type  obstacle clearing and road opening device’, which can shovel soil to fill up pits, push down trees, break obstacles and open up the road, and can directly break trees with a diameter of about 30 centimetres, shovel and flatten dense bushes and thorns, and open up a channel for personnel and other vehicles quickly.

The electric winch on the vehicle can save or rescue itself, and can realise the function of towing. 

Equipped with its own water pump, can be near the water source to take water, to ensure the continuity of firefighting. Equipped with ‘high-resolution camera infrared scanning fire detection device’ and ‘BeiDou and GPS integrated fire positioning device’.

The ‘infrared scanning fire detection device of high-resolution camera’ and ‘integrated fire positioning device of Bird's Nest and GPS’ can accurately locate the position of fire and evaluate the fire level. Form a three-dimensional, all-round modern independent fire fighting platform.
