With the increase of global forestry mechanization level, the traditional manual timber handling mode has been difficult to meet the production demand of high efficiency, safety and environmental protection. By integrating the elevating cockpit technology, crawler chassis system and intelligent gripping device, the elevating cab crawler wood grabber significantly improves the operation efficiency and operation safety.
(1) Crawler chassis system
Adopting high-strength steel welded frame and rubber/metal composite track design, the grounding specific pressure is ≤35kPa, which can be adapted to swamps, mountains and other complex terrain. Equipped with four wheels and one independent suspension system, the climbing ability reaches 45°.
(2) Lifting cab
Hydraulic drive lifting mechanism realizes 0-6 meters vertical adjustment, equipped with panoramic glass cabin and shock absorbing seat, compared with the fixed cab equipment, the lifting cabin design expands the field of vision by 300%, effectively reducing the visual blind spot. Tests by the Swedish Forestry Research Institute show that the design reduces the accident rate of misuse by 72%.
The integrated ISO 3449 standard roll cage and FOPS/ROPS dual protection system ensure safe operation.
(3) Wood grabbing device
Modular design hydraulic grapple (volume 0.5-8m³) with optional rotary clamp or band saw attachment. Maximum gripping torque up to 30kN-m, gripping precision error <5cm.
